Max Verstappen to open a store in his name
Max Verstappen intends to monetize his great popularity with his compatriots. He will therefore be launching a store entirely dedicated to his collection of derivative products.
Despite his young age, Max Verstappen quickly generated a very strong popularity, particularly among the Dutch public. One only needs to recall the historic crowd that filled the stands at Spa-Francorchamps last year, a scenario that has been repeated on numerous occasions.
The young Red Bull driver decided to take advantage by launching his own line of merchandise, starting with t-shirts and caps. While it was available on his website, it will now be available in a store entirely dedicated to him. It will open its doors this Saturday, June 17, in Swalmen, Netherlands.
He also takes the opportunity to display some significant elements of his (short) career, starting with the helmet he wore when he won his first (and so far only) victory in Barcelona last year. This is therefore a first step towards a museum like Fernando Alonso has already done.
It should be noted that the store will be open on Grand Prix Sundays to directly benefit from a potential new victory.
