Launch of the Jules Bianchi Society
On the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix, the veil was lifted on the Jules Bianchi Society, which aims to help young drivers without substantial financial resources to emerge.
The streets of Monaco will remain the scene of Jules Bianchi’s main feat in Formula 1: in 2014, he managed to secure a magnificent 9th place, which meant points for his Marussia team. They were essential for the team’s survival during the following off-season.
It is therefore naturally in this context that the decision was made to announce the launch of the Jules Bianchi Society. The family of the late driver explained their desire to bring new talents to light solely through their talent: « The main mission of the association is to unlock each driver’s potential by providing them with the financial assistance necessary for their career. The goal is also to support them by offering a reliable and effective network and to guide them throughout their journey. »
The package put in place is therefore significant as it provides an allocation of 100,000 euros per season and per driver for a program of ten races in the world or European karting championship.
The objective is to support at least four drivers for at least three full seasons. At the end of this journey, the plan is to push the best candidates towards single-seater promotion formulas. The association can rely on its privileged relationships, notably with All Road Management of Nicolas Todt, which included the young driver.
To finance this project, the association appeals both to individuals who want to honor the memory of a driver destined for a brilliant future and to businesses that wish to support promising young pilots.
