Pepe Jeans stays with Red Bull
Pepe Jeans has decided to extend its association with Red Bull, but with much less visibility than in the past.
The clothing brand joined the ranks of Red Bull in 2010, after having been previously associated with Renault. It had then negotiated good visibility by appearing on the upper part of the drivers’ suits as well as in different locations on the cars.
This presence was in effect until the end of last season but is no longer the case. Indeed, since the start of the season, its visibility has been significantly reduced: it is now limited to a single presence on the top of the radiators of Daniel Ricciardo’s and Daniil Kvyat’s single-seaters.
This can be explained by Puma’s return as a major partner of the team, which plans to provide uniforms, shoes, and civilian clothing for all team members. The German brand certainly wished not to be visible at the same time as another brand from the same sector.
