When Puma left Milton Keynes, it was then replaced by Geox. But even though Puma was no longer associated with the world champions at the time, the brand did not stop investing in sports. This year, it celebrated its 10th anniversary of partnership with Ferrari.

Moreover, in 2012, she had also seized the opportunity to partner with Mercedes, which was not the dominant force it is today. Naturally, given the team’s success last season, their partnership was then extended.

For 2016, Puma decided to reconnect with its former partner and create a line of lifestyle clothing in the brand’s colors. This also explains the strong association between the two brands outside of F1, as Red Bull’s other business sectors will benefit from this agreement, as explained by its CEO, Björn Gulden: « Puma and Red Bull can create great brand synergies together, and this new partnership with Red Bull Racing is a major announcement for Puma. There is a tremendous amount of potential within Red Bull’s larger organization to build from this partnership and explore new territories. »

The brand’s exposure will therefore be very broad, as, among the top four teams in the Constructors’ Championship, only Williams will not be equipped with products from the French group Kering’s subsidiary.
