Lewis Hamilton joins the festivities in the United Arab Emirates

On December 2nd, the United Arab Emirates will celebrate their 44th Independence Day. Interestingly, 44 is also Lewis Hamilton's favorite number. Therefore, there will be a special connection between the two parties during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Such an opportunity obviously presents itself only once, and both parties did not miss the chance to take advantage of it. Thus, the world champion will wear the number 44 on his helmet surrounded by local colors. The same logo is also displayed on the wall of the immense Yas Marina building. Red, green, and black will also be on his gloves.

A third reference to the number 44 is linked to the fact that since Austin, Lewis Hamilton has been seeking his 44th Grand Prix victory: “I’m also aiming for my 44th Grand Prix victory. That’s my goal for the weekend and I hope I can celebrate it here while we’re all in the United Arab Emirates. So wish me good luck and a happy 44th National Day of the United Arab Emirates.”

After two victories by his teammate, Lewis Hamilton will therefore have one more reason to try to conclude in the best possible way a season he has largely dominated.
