Broken hand for Kevin Magnussen
2015 will definitely be a year to forget for Kevin Magnussen: the Dane broke his hand falling off his bike.
Since the start of the season, Kevin Magnussen has had to bide his time on the pit wall, watching Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button try to make their McLaren Honda work. He hasn’t hidden the fact that he doesn’t see himself spending another season without racing. Lately, he has expressed that he would be delighted to drive for Haas next season. It remains to be seen if McLaren will let him join a team that is almost an annex of Ferrari.
He announced today that he had broken his hand after falling off his bike. McLaren will not be able to rely on its usual reserve driver for the Singapore and Japan races. Without a doubt, Stoffel Vandoorne, the other McLaren protégé, will be part of the Asian tour in the unlikely event that one of the two main drivers is unable to drive.
