The two McLarens score points in Budapest

Fernando Alonso was very attached to Jules Bianchi, whom he considered like a little brother. Jenson Button also made a great comeback as he moved from 16th to 8th position. But his end of race was difficult due to his worn tires: « Fernando did a great job today. Putting on the soft tires for the last stint was the right decision for him. I didn’t stop to change tires during the safety car while everyone else did. This decision made my life much more complicated because my worn medium tires were quite old at the end of the race. There were a lot of faster cars than me that had soft tires. »
