This morning, many drivers stopped at the end of pit lane to perform standing starts under the eyes of photographers. This was the case for Ericsson’s Sauber, the Lotus, the Williams, and the Toro Rosso.

The most enduring on track was Kvyat with the Red Bull. Nevertheless, he also caused a red flag at the beginning of the session by stalling when entering the pits. The Williams of Felipe Massa, on the other hand, caused a yellow flag late in the morning by stalling at the exit of the pit lane.

The rain came to disrupt the morning from 11:40 AM, stopping the sound of the V6 engines. Only the Red Bull took to the track to test the intermediate tires.
