Friday: Bianchi targets Sauber with his Marussia
The Marussia drivers hope to be competitive against their direct competitors in Austria. They are already ahead of Caterham but hope to challenge Sauber.
Max Chilton (No. 4) – 19th and 18th
Without being euphoric, the Englishman is not dissatisfied with his beginnings: « Overall, a very promising day for the team, considering that from a collective point of view, it’s our first visit to this circuit. I think we managed to extract a lot of the car’s potential […] And we were able to conduct a long and consistent race simulation. A positive start. »
Jules Bianchi (No. 17) – 18th and 20th
The Niçois collected a lot of useful information even though he lost time due to a stubborn radio. He focuses particularly on his direct competitors: « It’s a great track and the first signs show that we can perform well here since we’ve already shown promising things against the Saubers. I’m looking forward to the rest of the weekend. »
