Sahara Force India entrusts its data management to Univa
Sahara Force India has decided to entrust the management of its data to a recognized specialist in the field, Univa.
The arrival of the American company is made through a purely technical partnership, which means it is not seeking to increase its visibility and brand awareness by displaying its logo on the cars of Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Perez.
On the contrary, Univa’s entire presence will be behind the scenes as it specializes in data management software to optimize the computing capacities of the machines involved. It is thus present in numerous industries that require significant computing and data processing.
For a structure like an F1 team, this kind of performance is essential, as explained by Otmar Szafnauer, the head of team operations: “It’s fantastic to start a technical partnership with Univa and benefit from their expertise in data management software. Almost all of the team’s areas are tied to simulation tools to develop the car. This is what will add a lot of value to our relationship with Univa.”
