Saturday: Bottas and Massa in search of points for Williams

Felipe Massa had been performing well since the beginning of the Spanish weekend, but he made a mistake at the worst moment during his fast lap in Q3 and has to settle for 9th place on the grid. Valtteri Bottas, on the other hand, gained momentum and secured a nice 4th place on the grid. The goal is simple for both Williams drivers: to bring home points tomorrow.

Saturday: Bottas and Massa in search of points for Williams

Valtteri Bottas (No. 77) – 11th and 4th

The Finn delivered a top-class performance in qualifying to place 4th but expects even better in the race: « It has been a difficult weekend so far. I had to gain confidence, but everything came together when it mattered, and I managed to put in a good lap. We made some adjustments to the settings since FP3, and it worked well, but it will be even better in the race. »

Felipe Massa (No. 19) – 4th and 9th

The Brazilian was better than his teammate since the beginning of the weekend but made a mistake at the worst moment, which costs him dearly: « I am disappointed with my lap today because I lost the rear in turn 10 under braking, it had nothing to do with the car, it was my fault. I did everything well throughout the session, so I am disappointed not to have done it when it counted. The race is long tomorrow and the car has good potential. »
