Sahara Force India welcomes three new sponsors

The first partner arrives as a supplier to the team. Thus, KONI, a specialist in shock absorbers, has agreed to join Vijay Mallya’s team to provide its products. The goal is clearly to improve the team’s performance in this area of activity. This is not the first time the Dutch brand has invested in motorsports, as it has already showcased its products in competitions as diverse as the Dakar or the American Le Mans Series.

The arrival of the two sponsors that will appear on the sides of Nico Hülkenberg’s and Sergio Perez’s cars is directly linked to the latter since they are two Mexican companies. Consorcio Aristos is a real estate developer, while FICREA is a financial institution. Both companies share the same objective: increasing the international recognition of their brand.

They are therefore joining the brands of the Telmex group of Carlos Slim and Roshfrans, which announced their presence as soon as the official announcement of the Mexican driver’s arrival at the team was made. It is also a clear sign that Mexico is in a phase of economic growth and that companies have a genuine interest in attracting new partners and clients internationally, while Vitaly Petrov never managed to create the same dynamic with Russian companies during his time at Renault, and later at Caterham.

At the same time, this helps to reduce the burden on the two co-owners’ companies, which are currently in the media spotlight due to their significant financial difficulties.
