Jose Cuervo renews its presence with Sauber
Sauber has had many Mexican sponsors since the presence of Sergio Pérez, followed by Esteban Gutiérrez. Tequila Jose Cuervo has thus decided to extend a contract that has linked it to the Swiss team for three seasons.
The family business became a partner of the team at the beginning of the 2011 season when Sergio Pérez was hired. The return of a Mexican driver allowed the beverage company to capitalize on its sponsorship both domestically and internationally.
Thus, the brand carried out numerous communication campaigns highlighting its collaboration with Sauber, particularly during the two editions of the Austin Grand Prix, very close to the Mexican border. Additionally, it is very present in the paddock, where its ambassadors are prominently featured.
The two partners will therefore enter a fourth year of partnership, as revealed by Monisha Kaltenborn, the team director: « Our partnership with Jose Cuervo has been very successful and we are proud to have Jose Cuervo by our side as a partner.
