« After the results of the recent Grand Prix, it’s really good news to be back in the top 3. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to do a perfect lap because I went off the track at turn 4. I lost 7-8 tenths there and probably the second place, which was achievable today. We know that our car is more competitive in wet conditions and it’s really unfortunate that it only rained here. We must now try to reach the podium tomorrow as if we were fighting for the world championship because it’s the best way to end the season. Here at Interlagos, conditions are never stable and we’ve seen that again today. We went from an extremely wet track to an almost dry one in ten minutes. That’s why we expect a very erratic race where we will have to be very careful not to make a mistake. It will be necessary to have a perfect strategy and react very quickly. »

Felipe Massa – 22nd and 9th

« This qualifying session was made particularly complicated by weather changes because in the space of a few minutes, we went from heavy rain to an abrupt end. I’m not happy with my lap because I expected better but I lost time in the second and third sectors. In some parts of the track, I had aquaplaning and lost grip. I’m disappointed to have lost many positions because I was hoping to start higher up. Now we can only think about having a good race. For tomorrow, they predict rain but we have to be ready for any condition because here you never know where you stand and we haven’t done a single lap on a dry track. Without a doubt, it will be an exciting race for us drivers and the fans as well. All their energy will be an additional source of motivation for me to do well on a very important day. »
