Saturday: Bianchi and Chilton will give everything for Marussia
Even though they will start from the last row of the starting grid, Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton will give their all during the Brazilian Grand Prix to help the Marussia team maintain its 10th place in the constructors' championship.
Jules Bianchi – 13th and 21st:
A very difficult qualifying session today. We had to do everything as early as possible because we knew the rain was coming, but in the end the window of opportunity was just one lap. After that, the track was too wet to improve. I made a big mistake at the end of one of my fast laps as well, so it’s disappointing because I was so close to van der Garde. Now we have to stay positive for the race and do everything we can to get the right result for the team.
Max Chilton – 15th and 22nd:
It was difficult on track today and there were definitely some tricky moments. We left the pits as soon as the rain appeared and it was really a unique lap. I was happy with my sectors 1 and 3, even though I had a scare in turn 3. I struggled a bit with the balance but it should be fine tomorrow and that’s the day that counts.
