Saturday: Sutil struggles while di Resta is happy at Force India
Paul di Resta missed out on the top 10 in qualifying, but the Scot, happy with his car since the start of the weekend, hopes to be able to fight for points tomorrow. Adrian Sutil, on the other hand, is having a difficult weekend and can't get to grips with his car.
Paul di Resta – 12th and 12th [11th on the grid]:
I’m quite satisfied with this 12th place, which puts us in a good position for tomorrow. I feel good with the car, which has worked very well all weekend. For tomorrow, I’m optimistic about our chances of scoring some points. The car responds well, and I also think we will be more comfortable in the race than during the qualifying. We have a long race ahead of us, but we will work hard to find a good strategy tomorrow and we’ll try to attack throughout the race.
Adrian Sutil – 17th and 18th [17th on the grid]:
« I was not comfortable with the car this weekend. The practice sessions were not easy, and I can’t find a balance that works for me. It started in the second practice session yesterday when we had a brake problem, and since then I’ve been struggling. We made some changes before the qualifiers, which improved things, but it wasn’t enough to get into Q2. So we are disappointed with this 18th place, but it is the result of several things not working for us. We have a long and difficult race here, but I’m looking forward to it and will do my best to improve our performance. »
