Max Chilton teams up with Belstaff
The financial support around Max Chilton is expanding even further as the British driver becomes an ambassador for the British luxury brand Belstaff.
When Max Chilton was appointed by Marussia, the financial contribution from his father Grahame was widely discussed and estimated at twelve million dollars for the season. Such a contribution allows him to keep his seat without yielding it to the team’s reserve driver, Rodolfo Gonzalez, as will be the case for Jules Bianchi during the first practice session in Bahrain.
Nevertheless, the driver is keen to maximize his market value as an F1 driver. To do so, he has signed a partnership with the specialized agency Crown Talent & Media Group, which already manages the careers of footballers like Didier Drogba and Theo Walcott. It will now work in collaboration with his father’s family office, Capsicium Grand Prix Ltd, to manage all his commercial and sporting interests.
The first realization of this new partnership is the signing of a brand ambassador contract with Belstaff, which specializes in motorcycle clothing. The fruition of this agreement is the appearance of the British company’s logo on Max Chilton’s helmet. This can only strengthen its presence within a team that did not hesitate to drop one of its drivers, Luiz Razia, even before the start of the season for losing one of his sponsors.
