Williams joins forces with his former marketing director
F1 team employees spend more than 20 weekends away from home. This gives them significant demands on their luggage and accessories. That's why Williams decided to source from Dom Reilly, the eponymous brand founded by... their former marketing director.
Dominic Reilly spent 15 years with the Grove team, and the connections between the two companies, Williams and Dom Reilly, are therefore evident. Furthermore, Patrick Head, the co-founder of the team, is also part of the venture as he is a design consultant.
That’s why the founder explains that his brand was very early focused on Williams: « One of the first tasks of the Dom Reilly brand was to create luggage and accessories for the legendary Williams F1 Team, and the result was a unique collaboration allowing the team to use a broad and innovative range of products. There’s no better test for a range of travel accessories than being on the road with a Formula One team. I am therefore delighted that Williams has chosen to use my new range and look forward to working closely with them during the season. »
By becoming the official supplier of the team, the logo of the brand-new company will appear on the team’s communication materials, but not on the single-seaters of Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas. This partnership also allows it to double its range of products for the general public since the products made available to the team can be purchased on its website. However, Williams has not yet added them to its own commercial site.
