Belgium: Ask for the TV program!

After five weeks of well-deserved rest for everyone involved in Formula 1, the pinnacle of motorsport returns this weekend. And what better way to resume the action than on one of the season’s ultimate tests: the Spa-Francorchamps circuit? The Ardennes track will be followed, for this studious return to school, and starting as early as next week, by another major highlight of the season, namely, the Monza circuit.

This second half of the season begins with Fernando Alonso as a relatively comfortable leader in the drivers’ standings, mirrored by Red Bull in the constructors’ hierarchy. But beware: the gaps are far from insurmountable, and the rest of the pack, starting with McLaren and Lotus, have no intention of letting those we might refer to, in a footballing expression, as the “summer champions” slip away.

For the 57th Belgian F1 Grand Prix, TF1 will broadcast the race in its entirety starting at 1:55 PM. The F1 à la Une team will present the Belgian Grand Prix 2012 a few minutes earlier with a magazine and interviews on the starting grid.

Eurosport, a pay channel available on cable, the web, and as an option in ISPs’ television packages, will broadcast the free practice sessions and qualifications live and in full. TF1, on the other hand, will offer a shortened replay during the night from Saturday to Sunday.

Note: the editorial team will offer you, as usual, a live commentary of the qualifications on Saturday starting at 1:45 PM to follow the evolution of the hierarchy live and in total conviviality. You will also be able to ask your questions directly to the editorial team.

The Belgian GP (Spa-Francorchamps) on the Radio

You can also follow the Belgian Grand Prix – at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit – if you don’t have a television or are on vacation, thanks to the radio. The frequencies naturally depend on your geographical area. Several radio stations will broadcast the Grand Prix live. The hours are thus identical to those presented in the Live.

RMC will broadcast the race and the qualifications with the show Intégrale F1, commented by Patrick Tambay and Jean-Luc Roy. Europe 1 will also offer the broadcast of the GP.

Also note that the FOM has implemented paid mobile applications to track live the drivers’ positions on the track and get the latest results from the Belgian weekend.
