Lotus F1 Team is proud to announce a new three-year partnership with Microsoft, effective immediately. The Microsoft Dynamics branding will appear prominently on both Lotus F1 Team E20 cars, as well as on the drivers’ suits at the season opener, the Australian Grand Prix, in Melbourne on March 18.
Designed to enable companies to be more responsive and overall more competitive, Microsoft Dynamics solutions will be installed at Enstone to facilitate the transformation of the team’s work. Throughout the contract, Microsoft staff will work directly with Lotus F1 Team to continually transform and optimize operations and achieve a top-level facility.
Patrick Louis, General Manager of Lotus commented: Lotus F1 Team is very proud to have attracted Microsoft Dynamics as a sponsorship and business partner. We are entering an exciting phase of developing our work model as we move from our recent period of management change to a ‘global work transformation’ process. Microsoft Dynamics will be a crucial enabler in achieving our objectives. This association will help Lotus F1 Team operate globally, promoting our ‘smart’ approach to Formula 1.
Hal Howard, Vice President of Microsoft Dynamics ERP Research and Development: In an industry where every millisecond counts, Microsoft is excited to collaborate with Lotus F1 Team to help bring efficiency to its operations and make those seconds count. Lotus F1 Team is an innovative and responsive company, and Microsoft is very pleased to offer it technology that helps transform its operations into Dynamic Work and win.
Microsoft is expected to provide more details about this partnership at the Microsoft Convergence 2012 conference in Houston, Texas, from March 19 to 21.
