The first Ferrari tests delayed by snow?
Ferrari might cancel the filming of a commercial due to snow, which would have showcased their 2012 single-seater in action for the first time on Friday after its presentation.
The Scuderia Ferrari may be forced to postpone the filming of a commercial featuring its new single-seater due to snow. The Italian team hoped to conduct the first tests of its single-seater during the shooting of a commercial at the Fiorano circuit.
The 2012 Ferrari single-seater will be presented on Friday, February 3, and the team hoped to do some laps to start collecting data. But given the more than wintry weather – temperatures are around -10 degrees Celsius, Ferrari might ultimately be forced to cancel this initial run.
It now seems that there is little chance we can proceed with the planned shoot featuring our single-seater on the Fiorano circuit: even if the snow were to stop, it’s hard to imagine the roads could be cleared of their ever-growing snow cover, Ferrari states on its website.
