Friday: Productive day for Force India

Adrian Sutil – 9th:

« This afternoon’s session was quite good. I focused on evaluating different types of tires and finding the best balance for the car. I am satisfied with the soft tires; they offer good grip and the car behaves well. I also think we can be competitive during long stints. Furthermore, we have almost reached the ideal balance for the car, which makes me quite optimistic for tomorrow.

Paul Di Resta – 9th and 10th:

« Today I completed my first concrete experience on the Interlagos circuit and I must say I really like this track. The lap is quite short, but the pace is good and the track is quite technical. Besides that, today’s program was very busy, but we didn’t waste time and gathered a lot of information. In fact, it is one of our best Fridays in terms of data collection, even though we still need to test the usefulness of this information if weather conditions were to change. »

Nico Hülkenberg – 8th:

The session was good for me. I completed quite a few laps which allowed me to test different options on the car, try aerodynamic elements, and adjust the KERS mapping. I was fortunate to have the hardest tires available here and learned a lot about the usual medium compounds. I enjoyed being back in the car as I hadn’t driven since the free practice sessions in Suzuka. I quickly got back into the rhythm and really enjoyed this session.
