A new broadcaster for Williams
In trouble since the beginning of the season, the Williams team will introduce updates to its diffuser this weekend during the European Grand Prix in Valencia and thus continue its momentum from the past few races.
The Williams team experienced a more than difficult start to the season, both with Rubens Barrichello and the rookie Pastor Maldonado. During the first five races, Franck Williams’ team never finished in the points. But since the Monaco Grand Prix, the trend has tended to weaken and even reverse.
Twice, Rubens Barrichello managed to finish in the points, in Monaco and Montreal. Therefore, Williams approaches the European Grand Prix in Valencia with boosted morale. Especially since the team will offer a major innovation with a new diffuser that will be ready for the weekend’s race.
Moreover, the team’s technical director, Sam Michael, is very confident about the race, and with this modification, he believes that both cars should finish in the points. With a circuit that resembles Monaco, Michael is also counting on the good performance of the Pirelli tires that allowed the team to score its first points of the season. Will it be the same during the European Grand Prix this weekend?
