Official: Sauber C30 Cars Disqualified from the 2011 Australian GP

Sauber delivered a very good performance today by scoring ten points in its first Grand Prix of the 2011 Formula 1 season.

Pérez had finished the race in 7th position for his first F1 start, just ahead of his teammate, Kamui Kobayashi. However, the FIA decided to cancel the Swiss team’s results due to non-compliance of the rear wings of both C30s.

It’s the Force India and Felipe Massa’s Ferrari that benefit from this disqualification.

More information to come.
