Renault tries again between the raindrops in Spain

The poor weather conditions forced the team to adapt its technical program today. After heavy rain in the morning, the wind picked up in the afternoon, bringing new showers with it.

Vitaly Petrov – 2nd:

« It was cold and damp once again today. Nevertheless, we accomplished good work in these conditions and conducted refueling simulations. So I gained valuable experience from this workday. I hope the weather will be better in Barcelona and that I can do a good number of long runs on a dry track. »

Alan Permane – Chief Engineer:

« The conditions once again forced us to adapt our technical program for this second day of testing. However, we maximized the day and conducted runs on different types of tires. We also worked on race procedures. Overall, Vitaly is satisfied with this day and his results on the track are encouraging. »

Pilot program, Jerez testing session February 19-20:

Friday, February 19: Robert Kubica

Saturday, February 20: Robert Kubica
