The new American Formula 1 team, US F1, has announced the appointment of its new technical director: John Anderson, who has been involved in motorsport for over 30 years.
The Englishman, eponymous with the team’s co-owner, Ken Anderson, has primarily worked in the United States with renowned individuals such as Gerry Forsythe, Barry Green, and Dan Gurney. J. Anderson was recently the team director for Gil de Ferran’s team in the ALMS (American Le Mans Series).
Ken Anderson, the team director comments: « I met John Anderson 20 years ago and have always stayed close to him. He will be able to bring experience, organization, and skills to our team to help it progress. »

John Anderson responded at the press conference in Charlotte, USA: « I came to the United States for a few years and I never left. Now, I have the opportunity to work with an American F1 team and especially with Ken Anderson, a lifelong friend. It’s just great. »
