Photos are undoubtedly the best way to closely study the details of a Formula 1 single-seater and understand the aerodynamic innovations implemented by the engineers. There’s no need to be an expert to assess a new wing.

At Interlagos, a very bumpy track, you have to enjoy turning. Therefore, the downforce levels are relatively high. The situation becomes even more complicated if rain makes an appearance… like today.

On the aerodynamics side, there are no major changes since Japan. We must then look in detail at the sponsorship side, as Brawn GP is collecting bright red sponsors in abundance.

Today’s photos obviously concern Free Practice 1 and Free Practice 2.
