Grosjean might not start the Grand Prix in Singapore

The Renault F1 Team driver, Romain Grosjean, is currently suffering from stomach pains, specifically a liver crisis. The Frenchman might therefore withdraw this weekend in Singapore.

As the 14th race of the season is set to take place this weekend, at night and in Singapore, Romain Grosjean might not be fit to compete in the race.

The Franco-Swiss has been suffering from stomach pains for the past two days. After an examination in a Swiss clinic yesterday, near Geneva, a close source reveals that the rookie is suffering from an acute liver crisis.

According to the latest revelations, Grosjean might only be able to participate in the Singapore Grand Prix starting Saturday, while Luca Di Grassi (third driver) would replace him on Friday. Grosjean left the circuit earlier than planned today to rest at his hotel and undergo further examinations.

As a precaution, the two cockpits (for the French and the Brazilian) have been molded for Singapore. Renault is expected to make a statement about its drivers tomorrow morning only.
