Belgian GP: Ferrari will play the consistency card at Spa

At the end of the season, it’s the return to business for major teams like McLaren and Ferrari. Indeed, the Scuderia will be fighting for third place in the Constructors’ Championship this season. Their closest rival is none other than the Woking team, while Brawn GP and Red Bull have too much of a lead to be caught. The battle will therefore be relentless this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Luca Badoer will be back in action and will try to do better than in Valencia for the European Grand Prix. He has no choice because the Italian is on the hot seat. His place for the last races of the season is far from assured. Kimi Räikkönen, on the other hand, will try to achieve another podium finish, as this has become a habit for him in recent races. I’ve always enjoyed racing at Spa where I’ve won several times since I started my career in motorsport. I really love driving here: 44 laps may not be enough! Last year, everything went up in smoke due to the rain at the end of the race and I hit a wall. I gambled everything on victory and had nothing to lose. This year, the situation is slightly different because we don’t have a car capable of competing at the highest level of performance. But we will give everything – and more – to achieve a good result. »
