The former Formula 1 team owner, Eddie Jordan, was the first to offer Michael Schumacher the opportunity to race in F1.
Back in 1991, Schumacher began his incredible F1 career at Spa-Francorchamps, and now, 18 years later, the 40-year-old German driver will return with Ferrari to replace Felipe Massa following his serious accident during the Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying.
According to Jordan, Michael Schumacher is completely ready to return to Formula 1.
« Michael Schumacher is absolutely extreme », said Eddie Jordan to the BBC.
« I think that between 20 and 40 years old, there is a difference. His reactions will certainly be a millisecond slower, but since he was faster than everyone else by a millisecond earlier, this will balance his level. »
« It will be a big, big call for many of these young drivers, as they will be watching very closely what the seven-time world champion can do. »
