The weight of the single-seaters for the Hungarian GP

Since the 2009 season, the FIA has made the weight of the cars public, with the fuel load that can be easily calculated following the Saturday qualifying session.

Here is the weight of each qualifying car for the British Grand Prix, sorted in ascending order. Additionally, the exact amount of fuel has been added along with the driver’s position on the starting grid for the race. This is to observe the different strategies.

As expected, Fernando Alonso is extremely light, and his pit stop will be very early. It is indeed the top 10 drivers who have the least fuel. Except for Jenson Button, who has a bit more fuel starting from 8th place. Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are well on their way to winning this race.

Rubens Barrichello seems to be on a one-stop strategy with a lot of fuel on board.
