The engine supplier Cosworth is delighted with its return to the forefront in Formula 1. It has just been confirmed to supply engines for three Grand Prix teams.
The FIA announced on Friday that USF1, Campos, and Manor are the three new Formula 1 teams. They will use Cosworth engines for their debut next season.
The engine manufacturer’s last participation in F1 dates back to 2006. It will provide a standard engine at a reduced cost.
The agreement reached with the three new teams is for a duration of three years.
