Saturday: Two cars in Q2 for Force India, incredible!

Force India can be proud of itself, it has just achieved a small feat. For the first time, both drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil managed to qualify for Q2. The morning practice sessions hinted at some promise as they secured the 12th and 14th positions.

Everyone remembers Sutil’s performances on this Monaco track, the same is possible tomorrow just as his teammate can also make a name for himself since they will start from the 13th and 15th positions.

Adrian Sutil – 12th and 15th:

« A very good qualifying session for us, with two cars in Q2 for the very first time. It feels a bit like a pole position, and it was fun to be able to do it. All together, the team did a good job in the pits. It was difficult to manage the traffic and the stops, but it’s a good day for us. Tomorrow, I hope we will be able to fight in the midfield and try to get ahead of some drivers. The start can be a bit tricky, as always here, but I feel ready for tomorrow. We are very motivated and now hope for a good race. »

Giancarlo Fisichella – 14th and 13th:

« I think we can be very satisfied with our performance today. The team worked well and got both cars into the top 15: It’s very encouraging. We did a good job, even though there is still work to be done. The result shows that we are heading in the right direction. For tomorrow, I want to make it to the checkered flag, it’s Monaco, you never know what can happen. »
