The newly revised Ferrari F60 made its track debut yesterday, Friday, May 1st.
The new package, up to 15 kg lighter than the initial 2009 version, has been tested. It was the Italian, Marc Gene, who was at the wheel of the single-seater.
The weight saved affects all areas, including the material used for the seat belts! The car will still benefit from the use of KERS. The Scuderia hopes for a time gain of several tenths.
The Italian team has already confirmed that this package update will involve a ‘double’ diffuser. The aerodynamic tests are ongoing and will conclude today, Saturday, at the Vairano circuit in Italy.
