The drivers filmed the opening credits for the 2023 season of F1
For the second consecutive year, Formula 1 organized a photo and video shoot to record the opening credits for the 2023 Formula 1 season. The drivers gathered on the starting line in Bahrain in front of their F1 cars equipped with Pito sondes.
The 20 drivers of the 2023 F1 season gathered in pairs in front of their respective cars arranged in a V-shape. As last year, a drone was used to capture video footage and stage the drivers taking turns advancing.
The cameras were also present in large numbers on each side of the starting grid to record all the movements of the drivers, while many photographers were waiting on the pitlane, with access being limited to a few photographers.
The drivers had the opportunity to see the 9 other cars they had not yet seen in order to see how the competition had developed during the winter. The Bahrain tests open the 2023 Formula 1 season and will last three days. The 2023 opening credits, on the other hand, will be visible for the first Grand Prix of the season, starting from Free Practice 1 on Friday, March 3rd, 2023.
