Motors Inside, you announced this auction organized in Geneva by Sotheby’s, concerning luxury products, on Wednesday, November 9th, including an F1. The Ferrari F2003-GA, from 2003, driven in multiple races by Michael Schumacher, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, was indeed part of the sale.
Estimated at around 9 million Swiss francs by experts (equivalent in Euros), the latest auction lived up to all expectations as the hammer struck at over 13.3 million euros. The special feature of the F300-FA is that it won 5 races with the same chassis thanks to the skills of the German driver. The car was developed with the assistance of Ross Brawn. It was introduced in the middle of the 2003 season, following the utilization of the F2002 by Ferrari at the beginning of the 2003 season.
Another Ferrari F1, still belonging to Schumacher, had already been sold earlier this year for over 6 million dollars. This was a 2001 F300.
