Special helmets are becoming more and more common in Formula 1, and it is increasingly difficult to recognize drivers during the Grand Prix if we only rely on their helmets. This was once again proven this weekend in Suzuka, which hadn’t hosted a Formula 1 Grand Prix since 2019.
Indeed, Sergio Perez is the 4th driver to unveil a special helmet this weekend after the announcements of Tsunoda, Bottas, and Mick Schumacher.
The Mexican pilot’s helmet is usually composed of white but also contains a lot of colors related to the Mexican flag as well as those of the Red Bull logo – his team. For this weekend, he is bringing a helmet with a lot more light shades and a lot more white.
