Live from Singapore, the weather has rapidly deteriorated, even though rain was not necessarily forecasted for today.
Just an hour before the scheduled 2pm race start, a deluge hit Singapore.
Under such conditions, the start of the Grand Prix may be postponed in order to wait for the track to be more usable.
As a reminder, a Grand Prix cannot last more than 3 hours after the start, taking into account red flags, and the race itself cannot exceed 2 hours. The start can therefore be postponed, considering that in Singapore the circuit is illuminated, so twilight and the late hour are not really an issue.
