600€ fine for Bottas, caught speeding!

During the qualifications, Valtteri Bottas was clocked 5 km/h above the pit lane speed limit. The driver is penalized 100 euros per km/h above the limit.

600€ fine for Bottas, caught speeding!

The pit lane speed limit at Zandvoort, this weekend, is 60 km/h and not 80 km/h like at Spa last weekend. Bottas got caught out during qualifying, being clocked at over 65 km/h (65.1 km/h).

The FIA – International Automobile Federation – plans to penalize drivers guilty of €100 per kilometer per hour above the limit. So, Bottas will have to pay €600 (rounded to 6km/h above the limit).
