The 2022 Monaco Grand Prix is about to start on a wet track! Less than 10 minutes before the start, a shower soaked the circuit while the drivers are all on slick tires. The question will now arise whether to switch to intermediates or to keep the smooth tires.
Note that the Principality has resurfaced the circuit, and this new asphalt may be slippery due to the oil and dirt trapped in it during the past week and the previous week without rain.

All the drivers will start on intermediate tires.
