Gasly was disappointed and had 2 points deducted from his driver’s license after the Spanish Grand Prix

« Very disappointed, very disappointed. » are the first words of Pierre Gasly during his interview on Canal+. The AlphaTauri driver, who had a contact in the first lap, continues to have bad weekends without being able to turn things around. Frustration is the predominant feeling in this assessment of the Catalan weekend.

The weekends go by and it doesn’t pay off. We had a contact at the beginning and it had an impact on the aerodynamics, so it was impossible to do anything today. From the first lap, the race was almost over. It’s frustrating. From weekend to weekend, we can’t seem to have a weekend without problems, so it’s frustrating.

« There are always positive things and we will have to work, but lately there have been several races that have been happening and there are always things going on. On my side, I am also trying to do more, but that’s just the way it is. », he explains with a tone of disappointment.

In addition to this poor result, Pierre Gasly lost two additional points on his driver’s license during his contact with Stroll for which he was deemed responsible. He received a 5-second penalty on the track that didn’t make much difference, but he mainly lost 2 additional points on his license, leaving him with only 8 out of 12. Things are not going to improve for Gasly. He confesses that no changes are planned for the upcoming races.
