This is not the first time a Formula 1 car has been reproduced in life-size Lego. But it is the first time it is present in a Formula 1 stand, replacing the original Formula 1 car.
McLaren presented a giant Lego replica of its Formula 1 car, the MCL36, in front of its garage in Melbourne on Thursday.
A mini version of this MCL36 in Lego will be marketed for the occasion, but the Lego website already announces it as out of stock. Made up of 1432 pieces, it is sold for a price of 180€.

The McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo, were even able to sit inside this giant Lego Technic.
Looks… ‘comfy’, @DanielRicciardo! 😉🧱 It’s not everyday you get to take a seat in a McLaren F1 Lego Technic car. pic.twitter.com/9MzwAcNKu8
