The Binance logo will be visible on the A522 this season and from its launch on February 21st. Leading in the purchase and exchange of cryptocurrency, Binance is not the first company in the sector to partner with a Formula 1 team, but it is the first time that an F1 team is launching a Token in its name.
Indeed, Alpine will join the Binance Fan Token platform in 5 days, which allows fans of a sports team to own tokens (unique indecipherable keys) in order to digitally protect themselves. Named Alpine F1 Team Fan Token (“ALPINE”), this token will be available through spot, credit cards, and peer-to-peer transactions.
At the platform’s opening, 280,000 Alpine tokens will be available.
For the occasion, Binance organizes a contest to win some of these tokens.
The partnership with Alpine will allow Binance to organize events with the team’s drivers, as well as test days, especially in rally cars, which can also be won during this competition.
Currently, only 4 teams are participating in this Token platform for fans, including Lazio, FC Porto, and Santos FC.
Note that Crypto.com partnered with Aston Martin last year and FTX with Mercedes, as well as Tezos with Red Bull and McLaren, and Socios with Alfa Romeo.
