Created in 2016 under the name Renault Academy, the Alpine Academy, which trains F3 or F2 drivers for the pinnacle of motorsport, announces the arrival of two new recruits.
Jack Doohan will be driving in F2 this season for Virtuosi Racing, while Olli Caldwell will also be driving in F2 but for Campos. They both took part in the last F2 Grand Prix weekend last year to get a taste of their 2022 season.
Doohan proved himself in F3 last year by finishing as the runner-up behind Hauger and ahead of the Frenchman Novalak. Caldwell, who was less consistent in F3, still managed to achieve a victory.
Caio Collet, already present in F3, will continue his apprenticeship in F3 this 2022 season with MP Motorsport. Victor Martins, on the other hand, will continue with ART Grand Prix, also in F3.

Finally, Christian Lundgaard, who was in the Academy last year, will leave for the Indycar and drive for RLL in the same championship as Romain Grosjean.
Start of the season for F2 and F3 on March 18th to 20th in Bahrain.
