The Williams team, which will unveil its new single-seater this afternoon at 2 pm in France, has announced a new major partner who will be prominently displayed on the sides of the single-seater: the FW 44.
The manufacturer of batteries and batteries will also have to occupy a place on the combinations of drivers and mechanics.
Several events between Duracell and Williams will take place, notably at the Miami Grand Prix.
Jost Capito, Director of the English team, said he is very proud of this partnership between Williams and Duracell and grateful for the trust they have placed in them.
In control of Williams since the arrival of its new owner, Dorilton Capital, this partnership has an amusing connection for him: « Having this name on the sides of the single-seater is something quite strange for me because it’s the nickname that has been given to me for the past 30 years, apparently because I don’t lack energy. » he continued.
Note that Duracell, founded in 1924, has been owned by Warren Buffet’s investment company since 2014.
