Aston Martin and the new AMR22!

This new car, still equipped with its magnificent British green, will be driven by Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll.

Contrary to Haas and Red Bull, Aston Martin did not present a mock-up but rather their final version that will be driven during the Barcelona and Bahrain tests. The team has brought some new features, notably the arrival of a second title sponsor: Aramco, former sponsor of Formula 1. They have also removed the BWT brand from the team at the end of 2021, which explains the absence of pink on the car.

After a mixed 2021 season, Aston Martin wants to bounce back in order to compete with the top teams and make their project a success. “We want a five-year project to aim for the top,” says Lawrence Stroll, owner of the Silverstone team. This is a long-term project. Aston Martin is building its brand new factory, which will be operational by the end of 2022, allowing them to grow in strength over the years.
