We were used to a silver grey single-seater with a touch of turquoise green until 2020. In 2020, with the impetus of Lewis Hamilton, the single-seater turned black to follow the “Black Lives Matter” movement.
We do not yet know what to expect for 2021 but the first images suggest that black will continue to be part of the equation, although apparently the AMG logo will replace the Mercedes stars on the engine hood. Red will also adorn the roof of the Mercedes engine hood in tribute to Niki Lauda and his red helmet.
