The third season of “Drive to Survive” will start soon on Netflix
Netflix has set March 19 as the release date for the 3rd season of its thrilling Formula 1 series, Drive to Survive.
First broadcast in 2019 and recounting the events of the 2018 season, the series “Drive to Survive,” created by Netflix, has generated great enthusiasm among Formula 1 fans who have had the opportunity to follow their favorite teams behind the scenes of the paddock. Building on the success of this driver season, the popular streaming platform went on to produce a second season, equally successful.
And it is at the dawn of the 2021 season, on March 19th, that the third season of this cult production will be released online after the winter tests, with the aim of retracing the entirety of a truncated 2020 season, disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The announcement took place this Friday with a short trailer broadcast on social networks, already keeping fans in suspense about the events that will be aired. We already know that the Netflix team accompanied Ferrari to the Italian GP at Monza, in which the red cars experienced various setbacks and were unable to finish the race. An episode is also expected to cover the Bahrain GP, notably marked by the impressive crash of French driver Romain Grosjean, who heroically emerged unscathed.
A recent statement from Formula 1 highlighted the third season of the docu-series, considered to be the most dramatic, looking back on an epic 2020 season.
