After the drivers of the Ferrari Driver Academy last week and the main drivers (Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz), it is now Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda’s turn to participate in a test session with his new team.
The driver coming from F2 will be Pierre Gasly’s teammate this 2021 season in F1. To continue his training started during the winter testing in Abu Dhabi at the end of December, he was driving this Tuesday in Misano, Italy, not far from the AlphaTauri development center. He had already been able to take the wheel of this 2018 Toro Rosso rebranded AlphaTauri during a test in Imola last Friday.
The Japanese driver, who will turn 21 in May, secured 3 victories last season in F2, finishing 3rd in the championship behind Mick Schumacher (appointed at Haas in 2021) and Calum Ilott.
