The F1 race schedules will once again be on the hour

F1 has decided to return to the regular schedules that were known before the takeover by Liberty Media. Thus, races will start at 2 PM, 3 PM, or 6 PM, for example, aligning with the driver's time. The 3:10 PM start times are gone.

The F1 race schedules will once again be on the hour

The acquisition of F1 by Liberty Media brought its share of changes, including the decision to start races with a 10-minute delay, with the reasoning being to give people time to settle in front of their screens and TV channels the chance to start a program right at the top of the hour, providing some time to present the upcoming race.

F1 has now announced through Stefano Domenicali, its new director, that it will return to the old system of starting the race on the hour.

Be careful not to get caught out this year, or you might miss the start of the race!
